U12 Win Battle of Troy

In a hard fought, fun, and exciting contest the TUSC U12 girls were able to beat the TUSC U14 girls 2-0 on Sunday in the Saint Louis Premier League.  Goals for the U12's were scored by Sierra and Jordy.

The game was a very even contest that saw both teams have only a chance each in the first half.  About half way through the first half the U12's saw Jordy's shot beat the keeper only to be cleared off the line at the last second by Abby R..  Moments later the U14's got their only real chance of the first have seeing Abby D's. long shot force a great save from Mackenzie.

The second half remained a tight contest.  The U12's were awarded and subsequently missed a penalty before taking the lead moments later through Sierra's goal.  After that the U14's put pressure on the U12 goal but saw a series of great crosses unable to be finished before giving up a free kick to the U12's at the top of the box which Jordy stepped up to put away for the final 2 goal margin.
